Set beside the 250-acre Lake Lurleen, over 15 miles of trails cover the 1,625-acre Lake Lurleen State Park. Campsites along the eastern shore allow easy lake access and fishing can be done either on the lake or off of one of the park's three fishing piers. The park is located 5 miles northwest of Tuscaloosa and completely circles Lake Lurleen.
Open year round, trails close at 9:00 p.m.
Day use: Adults $3; Seniors (62+) and Children (6-11) $1; Children under 6 are free. Camping rates vary by location, check website for details.
